Folks,
NASA's Langley Research Center would also like to second this thought. In our discussions with other centers within the agency the primary utilization of DCE would also be in support of the DFS.
Langley would like to be able to utilize the DFS in a clustering environment (PVM/MPI) so that the programs see a consistent, secure, scalable, and high performance file system to run against. This would probably apply to any organization that is moving away from supercomupters to a more comodity based computing platform.
