 Walter Stahlecker is a Fellow of The Open Group. His current focus is on modelling, describing and promoting the concept of Enterprise Architecture in the sense of "Architecture of the entire Enterprise".
He has been an active member of The Open Group's working groups and Governing Board (and the preceding X/Open) since 20 years. He initiated the Business Architecture Working Group, the ITAC Program and is a founding member of the Architecture Forum.
In 2006 Walter retired from HP as Director of Industry Standards after 35 years, during which he served as manager (commercial UNIX program) and initiator (System Management part of OpenView, Agilent's digital IC test systems). |
