Presentation
SOA Standards Landscape and Value
There are SO many standards for SOA, where do you begin to understand what they are for, who wrote them, and why! Come sort this out with us. This session will explain the types of SOA standards and what they should be used for. We will then survey the standards currently in progress in The Open Group, OASIS, and OMG and position them with each other. We will talk about the core common SOA concepts they all agree on. Finally, we will provide some guidance on using these standards … and their value to you and your business. As an added bonus, we’ll provide you access to a joint paper by The Open Group, OASIS, and OMG that supports the conclusions of this session.
