Using TOGAF™ 9 as a Tool's Common Metamodel
Enterprise Architecture tools need to support many Enterprise Architecture frameworks and methods as well as customizable metamodels to meet customer needs. Though the TOGAF™ 9 metamodel is fairly simple, we’ve found it to be a great foundation for supporting TOGAF 9 and other architecture frameworks and methods. We’ll discuss the elaborations added to the TOGAF 9 metamodel and how we will use it to support TOGAF 9 and other EA methods and frameworks.
