Andrew Bystrzycki is Director - Data Management Services, at Human Resources and Skill Development, Canada. He has spent more than 35 years in the service of Canadians working in several ministries within the federal government.

For the past ten years he has been a key executive in the Modernizing of Service to Canadians and is working on the domain of information architectures to enable federal and multi-jurisdictional interoperability.

Andrew has completed undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the fields of computer engineering and science.

Case Study: Exploiting Information Architectures for Integrated Service Delivery

Information interoperability is a key enabler for integrated, multi-jurisdictional government service delivery. Thie presentation will address how a well-organized departmental architecture capability can be leveraged across governments to enable a strategic national objective. It will also outline the associated issues and lessons learned.
