These partners have skills in IT procurement and management of IT projects, as well as software and organizational metrics. Each already provides IT procurement support and consultancy to a large base of organizations within their region. Their skills were required to analyze IT implementations, projects, and organizations.

The Procurement Partners worked closely with the Regional Engineering Partners. They agreed to participate in the VALIDATE project by being monitored during substantial IT procurements.
The Procurement Partners were carefully selected to cover different types of European organizsation (both public and commercial), industry, size, and geographic region. In addition, each study region included at least one organization responsible for IT procurement in local or national government.
