Workshops

The workshops are suitable for organizations which have between 20 and 400 IT users.

Workshops are now being offered to train organizations on procurement best practices and to assist in formulating specific improvement actions for each organization’s procurement policies and programs.

Workshops are available as one and two-day sessions. They are conducted in Belgium by the Quality Assurance Institute, but are also available in-house. The objective is to demonstrate the Diagnostic Software Tool and help users to help themselves.

Each participant receives the Diagnostic Software Tool in advance of the workshop, free-of-charge. This is used to collect data on current practices and procedures across a broad range of business, purchasing, and technical attributes within the participant’s organization. The data is then used to tailor the workshop to the participant’s specific requirements.

The aim is that by the end of the workshop each participant will receive a set of specific recommended improvement actions for their organization based on their current situation, business objectives, and IT purchasing practices, along with step-by-step instructions for implementing each improvement.

The workshops include:

Each workshop has a follow-up contact program which is used to track the implementation of the assigned improvement actions.

Workshop agendas are individually tailored. The following list of topics is taken from an actual one-day workshop agenda to illustrate the coverage:

Some sessions are organized in parallel smaller groups. There is opportunity for one-on-one sessions with the expert consultants during and after the workshop.
