Nick Price Group Technical Architect, The Dairy Farm Group

Nick Price is Group Technical Architect for the Dairy Farm Group.  Prior to this he was working as an independent technology consultant on a variety of contracts with the European Commission and other leading IT companies.  His involvement with the Dairy Farm Group commenced in January 1995.

Nick has spent his whole career in IT gaining a BSc in Computer Science at the University of London in 1984. He worked for the NCR Corporation in the UK and in the USA as a member of the NCR Tower Unix Program.  He started his own business specializing in UNIX/DMBS development in 1988 with contracts for UK Government and major IT organizations such as Apple, NCR and Oracle.   In 1991 Nick took up an appointment as Technical Director for UNIX International Europe based in Brussels.   He returned to consultancy work as an independent technology consultant in 1995.
