Network Client Program Group
The Network Client Program Group was initiated in April and is still in the formative stage.
This short session will provide an opportunity to review the requirements gathered so far and determine an appropriate plan of action.
- Continue the process of kick-starting this new Program
- Inform participants on latest developments in the field
- Review customer requirements from available sources

| 11:00 | The Open Browser: A review of the Open Browser initiative - an attempt to establish and promote the largest common subset of browser functionality that would permit full content portability. This will include a short presentation of the concept and an opportunity for discussion and input. | |
| 12:00 | Review of collaboration: Review of how work is proceding between the Open Group and the NC Management and Mobile NC Groups. | |

new areas of work in the client area that could be important to members. Mobile: What special issues are introduced as clients become mobile-connected? Should this aspect be part of the work of this group? Personal-Area Networks (PANs): On a similar note, some client devices will be untethered and connected wirelessly to their network and peripheral devices. What if any impact should this have? |
