Director of Applications for the Internet2 Project

Ted Hanss is the Director of Applications Development for the Internet2 Project , an effort of the University Corporation for Advanced Internet Development. He coordinates activities aimed at building and deploying the next generation of network-based applications in support of research and education. Ted is on loan from the University of Michigan where he served for several years as a senior manager in the University of Michigan's Information Technology Division.

Among other responsibilities, he was Director of the Center for Information Technology Integration, a computer science research and development lab focusing on distributed systems. Ted has a B.S. in Biology from Boston College and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
