Attendees Registration Free
attendance is a benefit of membership. Please visit our members list to see if your company may
already be a member.
Attendance Fee
- The attendance fee for non-members at the designated ‘public’ sessions on
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday is US$600.00.
The attendance fee includes:
- Full three-day conference package (Monday through Wednesday)
- DCE tutorial, being held on Thursday, 29 October
- Lunch and coffee breaks
- Monday evening ‘networking’ reception
Method of Payment
Payment is collected in US dollars and may be
made only with the following Credit Cards:
American Express, VISA or MasterCard
- The credit card slip and an invoice will be mailed to you to confirm payment and provide
you with a receipt. Therefore, it is important we have your full mailing address
with your registration.
Note for participants from European Community countries
If you are from a European Community country, please provide your organization’s
VAT number (Value Added Tax). Otherwise we must charge VAT at the rate of 17.5% on the
attendance fee.
Cancellation Policy
- All cancellations must be made in writing either via email or fax to one of The Open
Group contacts listed on the Registration Web page.
- Cancellations made before 14 October 1998 will be accepted, subject to a cancellation
service charge of US$50.00.
- Participants who cancel after 14 October 1998, or who do not attend, are liable for the
entire attendance fee.
- Substitutions may be made at any time.
Accomodation
A limited number of hotel rooms at the conference
venue (Shangri-La, Singapore) are
available at special Open Group rates which include a buffet
breakfast.
30 September 1998 is the cut-off date for requests for rooms at the
special conference rate. After 30 September, rooms may be reserved
directly through the Shangri-La
hotel, based upon availability and at prevailing rates.
