The DCE Program Group is pleased to present an information-rich program on the evolution, current state, and future direction of DCE.
The DCE program will be oriented toward both newcomers and those who have had some earlier experience with this technology and are interested in new developments. For newcomers, there will be a series of introductory topics, including a brief history of DCE, an overview of its services, and product usage and benefits. More experienced users will learn about new features, as well as DCE’s strategic direction going into the 21st century.

- Joint DCE / Security Program Group Session
- Integrating DCE with Other Enterprise Technologies (CORBA, Java, PKI)
- DCE in Action! - Success Stories from Industry
- DCE Vendor Product Updates
The DCE program will run 2 days October 28-29, plus a special evening networking session on Tuesday, October 27th . Wednesday focuses on DCE's role in enterprise-critical computing, while Thursday is devoted to introductory topics. All sessions are open to members and nonmembers.
