TOGAF (Architectural Framework) Program Group

Information on the program

The next meeting of the TOGAF Program Group will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, October 28-29, 1998, at The Open Group Member's Meeting in Singapore.

The meeting falls into two parts.

  • On Wednesday, October 28th, the group will host a full-day Architecture Briefing, open to non-members of The Open Group, covering The Open Group Architectural Framework (TOGAF) and the IT DialTone Architecture.
    • This Briefing will build on the successful TOGAF ADM Briefing presented at Miami, extending the scope to cover all the elements of TOGAF; practical case studies from around the world on the use of TOGAF; and The Open Group's own IT DialTone Architecture, as a specific example of a rich and highly integrated systems architecture providing a core set of building blocks for the construction of enterprise architectures.
    • Full details of the Architecture Briefing (Wednesday)
  • On Thursday, October 29th, the group will hold a full-day TOGAF workshop, open to members only, on further evolving the TOGAF Architecture Development Method.
    • This workshop will be of vital interest to all members concerned with adding further value to the TOGAF Architecture Development Method, by integrating back into the TOGAF ADM the work done this year on using the ADM in the development of requirements and business scenarios for the IT DialTone Architecture.
