Wayne Haughey Information Technology Leader, AlliedSignal Engines’ Information Systems AlliedSignal, Inc.

Mr. Haughey is the Information Technology Leader responsible for establishing I/T operations at a new manufacturing plant in China. He is responsible for defining and managing all aspects of the I/T requirements including: communications, infrastructure, middleware, hardware, and software including integration with an ERP package.

Prior to accepting responsibility for the China program, Mr. Haughey was Group Leader for the Integration & Reusable Functionality Group. In that assignment, he managed a program of eight large international software development projects which were developed in parallel both in Phoenix, USA and Bangalore, India. His primary responsibility was development and implementation of object technology, including development of a reusable enterprise framework; basic building blocks of an application.

In his Group Leader position, Mr. Haughey also authored an AlliedSignal corporate Statement of Direction which defined open standards for AlliedSignal. He was responsible for leading an Object Administration team facilitating reuse across 9 business units and has given several technical and managerial presentations at Fortune 100 companies, international conferences, and universities.

Prior to working for AlliedSignal, Mr. Haughey was employed by the Arizona Department of Transportation where he was responsible for tracking and scheduling a $60 million annual program. He was also responsible for the administration of the engineering manpower management system.

Mr. Haughey is currently attending the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Glendale, Arizona and will receive his Masters in International Management in July 1999. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration in Computer Information Systems degree and also received a minor in Chemistry.
