DCE Working Group: Improved DCE-LDAP Integration

Are you concerned with protecting your existing investment in DCE and extending your IT environment to integrate the new applications and technologies needed to solve your evolving business needs? Learn how the new DCE strategy of "Embrace, Extend, Evolve" will help you better leverage your current DCE investment and make DCE services more accessible to be integrated into other middleware components.

This session will focus on our latest project to provide better integration of the DCE registry with LDAP. Several DCE vendors will be collaborating on a standard approach to making the DCE registry known to LDAP-enabled directory clients. One of their goals is to define a single schema with extended attributes for storing DCE information such as principles, groups and ERAs. We'll hear their approach and provide feedback on their ideas.
