Paul Skillen joined Corel in September 1992 as a software developer. He moved on to head up many engineering projects within Corel. In 1996 he was transferred to Orem, Utah to oversee the WordPerfect transition from Novell, Inc. to Corel Corporation. Paul was subsequently named VP of Engineering in 1997. Prior to joining Corel, Paul was involved in several Ottawa High Tech start-ups including his own consulting firm. Paul has almost 20 years experience in the Ottawa area hi-tech industry. His hobbies include, music, hiking and skiing.
