  The Architecture Program Group will progress further this years work program, which will deliver a revised Open Group Architectural Framework in December 1997. Three separate Task Groups will be meeting in London:
  • Building Blocks Task Group

To maintain the ongoing progress to bring TOGAF closer to the implementation of specific architectural solutions.

  • SIB Task Group

The objective here is to increase the value of The Open Group's Standards Information Base, by adding tools and functionality to the SIB itself, and by generating greater structure in the informational content to reflect the work done in the Building Blocks Task Group.

  • Requirements Task Group

To develop and document new requirements that will guide the evolution of the TOGAF.
