11:00 Directory Certification Chris Harding, Open Group Executive Director for the DIF, will cover:
  • Certification for LDAP servers - The Open Brand for LDAP 2000.
  • Certification for Directory-Enabled Applications - a preview of the soon-to-be-launched Works With LDAP 2000 program.

  • Developments in X.500 - a summary by Skip Slone of Lockheed Martin of what is going on in the X.500 community.
  • Progress in the IETF - an overview by Keith Richardson of Critical Path of the latest developments.
  • Directories and XML - presentation by Winston Bumpus on the role of XML and the Novell DirXML proposal for DSML 2.0.
  • Group discussion on the direction that directory standardization should take.
