Peter George is co-founder and Director of Wheatstone Consulting, a consultancy firm specialising on mobile and wireless technology. He has more proven experience than most in the value, and inherent challenges of exchanging business critical information with mobile workers and on-line consumers. Peter has, for over a decade, been helping corporate customers in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Australia, plan and deploy mobile and wireless data architectures.

During the early part of his career Peter worked for a variety of Government and Business Information Service organisations, managing high security networking, data collection, workflow and messaging projects. In the mid-90's Peter was General Manager of European Operations and Technical Director of XcelleNet International, then the market leader in mobile management software.

Since 1996 Peter has served as an Executive Director of the Mobile Data Association, advising on Mobile Data Applications, and is on the editorial committee of the Association's flagship publication, The Mobile Data Guide.
