Agency
Mr. Kei Harada is a Senior Researcher, IT Security Center,
Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan (IPA is an affiliated organization
to the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and is engaging
in the establishment and promotion of Japanese IT Security evaluation
and certification scheme based on ISO/IEC 15408(Common Criteria), as well
as researching information security management since he joined IPA in
2001.
He currently serves as a member of ISO/IEC JTC1 SC27 Japan committee and
a member of Information Technology Research and Standardization Center,
Japan (INSTAC) Security committee.
Before joining IPA, he had experienced various software development projects
including CAD/CAM system, parallel computer operating system and control
software, and also participated in standardization on computer graphics,
and internationalization functions under ISO/IEC JTC1 and X/Open.
He received: Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of
Tokyo, Japan in 1974 and Master of Science in Engineering from University
of California at Los Angeles, USA in 1979.
