Chief Scientist, LUMETA Corporation
Bill "Ches" Cheswick is Chief Scientist for LUMETA.
Ches has worked for nearly 30 years on operating  system
security, including 13 years of service at AT&T/Lucent/Bell Labs where
he began his now famous Internet Mapping Project. The technology used
for this project became the genesis of LUMETA.
An internationally acclaimed expert on security, Ches co-wrote
the bible for firewall management "Firewalls and Internet Security:
Repelling the Wily Hacker," (Addison Wesley, 1994). His depth of
knowledge has resulted in him being a frequent consultant to government
agencies and an advisor to law enforcement for high-profile computer crimes.
