Bob Yellin is senior vice president of Tivoli Systems Inc., an IBM company headquartered in Austin, Texas.  Yellin is responsible for leading Tivoli’s core business units and customer and product support groups, as well as Tivoli’s IT organization.

Previously, Yellin served as general manager of Tivoli’s S/390 business unit.  Yellin was also a management consultant to Tivoli, assisting with the development of the S/390 business unit.

Before joining Tivoli Systems, Yellin was senior vice president and chief technical officer of Legent Corp., a major systems software vendor.  Prior to Legent, Yellin was senior vice president of product development at Business Software Technology, a leading vendor in change control and configuration management software.

Yellin received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
