Dror Segal leads a technology group which specializes in applying new and emerging technologies to advance the business interests of the New York Stock Exchange and other SIAC customers.  Providing strategic direction as well as special project management, Segal’s team focuses on systems architecture, networking, systems management, capacity and user interface issues, as well as hardware and software selection. 

Since joining SIAC in 1988, Segal played a key role in the development and deployment of the NYSE’s integrated technology plan, a two-year, $125 million re-engineering initiative to enhance the efficiency and capacity of trading floor operations.  Most recently, Segal served as “producer,” systems architect and technical project manager for NYSE’s 3-D Trading Floor, the first large-scale virtual reality environment for business applications. 

Segal received his B.S. in math and computer science from the University of Tel Aviv and did graduate work in environmental psychology at the City University of New York.
