Jan-Maarten van Dongen is the lead architect for the OpenView Software Business Unit (OVBU). He is responsible for the HP OpenView business, including product development, product marketing, channel support and development, partners and strategic alliances, and profit and loss.

Jan-Maarten van Dongen has been with HP since 1985 and worked in HP’s consulting organization for 11 years on Benchmarking, Performance Analysis/Modeling and Architecting Mpe, Unix, NT and Network based computer solutions.

In 1995 he joined the OpenView Software Business Unit in Roseville, California and is currently responsible for the overall OpenView Service Management and Integration Architecture.

Jan-Maarten van Dongen holds an engineering degree in Electronics from Delft, The Netherlands.
