Bob Beauchamp is the President and CEO for BMC Software, Inc. (NYSE:  BMC), the leading provider of enterprise systems management.

Prior to his nomination, Beauchamp served the company as Senior Vice President of Product Management Development.  In this position, he was responsible for managing BMC Software’s more than 2000-person research, development, support, product marketing, and quality assurance organizations.  He was also responsible for developing and executing strategies for products including those for e-commerce, distributed systems, and mainframes

During his 12 years with the company, Beauchamp has also served as senior vice president of research & development, vice president of strategic marketing and corporate development, and director of strategic marketing.

Beauchamp received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 1982 and a Masters of Science in Management from Houston Baptist University in 1987.
