Phase D-B: Business & IT Services Delivery
Introduction
The management and operation of the enterprise architecture is the responsibility of:
- IT Business Management: Business managers have process ownership and responsibility for the usage of the services by their staff. They
are responsible for the tweaking of the services and any work arounds to deliver the end result.
- IT Service Management: IT service staff are responsible for IT services and assets.
Often, changes can be implemented in Phase D-B to overcome unforeseen obstacles and problems.
There are a number of methodologies that can be used to ensure compatibility with the
enterprise architecture in this area. For example, ITIL is an industry best practice that identifies areas to
consider such as:
- Processes affected
- Configuration management
