Business Context

Introduction

The Business Context addresses the scope of the enterprise and determines who has an active interest in delivering the business directives.

The enterprises affected by the business directives may be spread across many teams and organizational units, both within and without the organization covered by the enterprise.

For instance, partners' suppliers, clients, and outsourcers all have enterprise architectures and business solutions that may require changes or re- architecting for the Board directive to be achieved.

The Business Context addresses the context and scoping of the new enterprise and corresponding requirements for enterprise architecture work.
