Garry Doherty, ArchiMate Forum Director, opened the meeting and asked the group to approve the agenda. This was done. Garry then introduced the Chairman, Henry Franken, who presented the spotlight presentation he had delivered during the plenary session on Tuesday.
The first document to be reviewed was the ArchiMate Tools Certification Policy. James de Raeve, VP of Certification from The Open Group, guided the meeting on the impact of all elements of the policy. Improvements were made to the document and it was decided that there was no need for a test lab and that a self-certification process would suffice.
The second document to be reviewed was the ArchiMate Tools Certification Conformamnce Requirements. Again, James de Raeve guided the group in preparation of the Conformance Requirements.
Although there were draft Archimate People and Training Certification documents available for review, there was insufficient time available to review these documents.
