AQRM
Objective of Meeting
The objective of the meeting was to further work on developing the AQRM Architectural
Framework, and to generally progress the project.
Summary
The group focused its discussion on topics related to the Architectural Framework. The
meeting started with a summary of the current state of the Architecture Framework from Tom
Bishop and Karl Schopmeyer. This was followed by a presentation from Peter Sevcik,
NetForecast Inc, of work he has done to develop an Application Performance Framework.
Significant elements of this proposal will be incorporated into the AQRM project.
There was also discussion of the requirements development process. It was agreed that
it would be beneficial to incorporate suitable business scenarios into the document.
Outputs
The principal outputs of the meeting were a set of actions and an agreement to hold the
next project meeting in December. One of the key future actions will be to identify
activities to gain increased visibility to, and participation from, the end-user
community.
Next Steps
A further meeting of the project is planned for December 11th-12th 2003 in Dallas,
during the CMG conference.
