The meeting focused on creating a better infrastructure to move the project forward.
After an initial session to review and agree the project goals, the group identified a
series of activities which would be addressed in the short term. These activities are:
- Architectural Framework
- Application Instrumentation
- Policy
- Application Quality of Service
- Industry Research
These groups will generate white papers and surveys of other standards activities, plus
other deliverables as appropriate. It is a key goal of AQRM to build on existing standards
efforts, and not to duplicate or compete with them.
Much of the time at the meeting was given over to working sessions of the subgroups.
To support these activities, a set of mailing lists and sub-project websites ahs been
created on the AQRM project website.
