Reference Architecture Project
Objective of Meeting
The SOA
Reference Architecture project plans to create a draft of the
Reference Architecture for wider review within the SOA Work Group, and
ultimately for Open Group Company Review prior to publication. The main
focus of this meeting was on developing the draft. The meeting also
discussed review planning.
Summary
The meeting worked through a draft of the Reference Architecture, and
made detailed changes to the text. This now needs just a little more
work before it can be published as a draft. It gives a high-level
perspective of the reference architecture, but does not include detailed
building block descriptions. These will be added to produce the full
reference architecture, which will be subjected to Open Group Company
Review prior to publication as an Open Group standard.
Outputs
The draft
produced by the meeting is available to Work Group members.
Next Steps
The next steps are to finalize the current draft, add the detailed
building block descriptions, and publish the standard.
