UDEF Web Conference

Objective of Meeting

The meeting was conducted as a web conference to enable members of the UDEF Interested Parties group to gain a deeper understanding of the UDEF and how it is developing.

Summary

Chris Harding, The Open Group Forum Director for Semantic Interoperability, gave a presentation on The Current State and Future Directions of the UDEF. Ron Schuldt, UDEF Project Leader, then presented slides on Using the UDEF in Your Enterprise. There were questions from the audience, and discussion of points raised, during both presentations.

Outputs

This report, and the minutes of the meeting (available to members of the UDEF Interested Parties group) form the principal output of the meeting.

Next Steps

Work will continue to develop and promote the UDEF.
