SOA Governance Face-to-Face Meeting
Objective of Meeting
The aims of this meeting were to consolidate the preparatory
work that had been done by teleconference, and establish the project
by agreeing its scope and work plan.
Summary
These aims were
achieved in an intensive two-and-a-half-day meeting. The project team:
- Reviewed the project goals and status
- Reviewed related standards work, in particular CoBIT and ITIL
- Considered input material from project members
- Planned the project activities going forward
Outputs
The meeting resulted in:
- A definition of SOA Governance
- An agreed scope for the SOA Governance project
- A work plan for production of a draft Reference Model and Guidelines
for SOA Governance in advance of The Open Group conference in Paris
