AQRM Project
Objective of Meeting
The purpose of the meeting was to progress work on the AQRM project,
and also to continue investigation of applying an architectural
approach to Enterprise Management.
Summary
The meeting worked on planning short-term deliverables for the AQRM
project, together with a schedule for their development. The primary focus
will be on defining a QoS Service. In addition, the group will work to
publish the AQoS Functional Description as an Open Group publication.
A short discussion was held with a representative of the Architecture
Forum, and it was agreed that there is common ground around the use of
ITIL concepts for bringing an architectural approach into the work of the
Forum.
Outputs
The primary output of the meeting is a work plan covering the next
three months, together with a longer-term plan for defining a QoS Service and
beginning to populate the AQoS Functional Specification. The existing
internal Functional Description will be revised into a formal Open Group
publication.
Next Steps
Bi-weekly AQRM project calls will continue in order to develop the
deliverables and progress the project.
