Rajaram Venkataramani heads the Technology Consulting Group in Cognizant’s Banking and Financial Services Practice in the UK. In this role, his charter is to bring in technology innovation and architectural services to key banking customers.
He is a TOGAF Certified, IBM SOA Solution Designer and Rational SME with specialisation in EA, SOA and Application technologies and methodologies.
Rajaram has over twelve years of global consulting experience in the USA, Germany, Singapore, India and UK working for leading BFS and IME customers across application lifecycle for large and complex projects. He also has start up experience as CTO of a $10 million organisation where he built intellectual property to measure agility quotient. At Cognizant, he successfully built a team of architects at Chennai as part of Global Technology Office.
He has authored N-Views Methodology for Architecture Assessment, Definition and Planning which has been published in global conferences and widely used in Cognizant projects. He has also led the initiative to define Cognizant’s SMM4e based SOA Methodology.
Rajaram graduated in 1993 majoring in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Trichy, which is one of the top 10 technology institutes in India. He has presented papers at most major Indian Universities and forums such as IEEE, STEP AUTO and IBM RSDC on architecture and technology topics. His hobbies include nunchako, carnatic flute and metaphysics.
