Presentation

ArchiMate is a graphical language for modelling and analysis of enterprise architecture.

ArchiMate is an open and independent modelling language for enterprise architecture, in use at many end-user organizations and supported by different tool vendors and consulting firms. ArchiMate provides instruments to support enterprise architects in describing, analyzing, visualizing, and communicating architectural concepts, relationships, and impact consequences within and among business domains in an unambiguous and standardized way. ArchiMate is maintained by The Open Group, within the ArchiMate Forum.

ArchiMate® and The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) are a perfect match. TOGAF™ is the delivery method for enterprise architecture artifacts and ArchiMate is the modeling language. ArchiMate is an ideal candidate to deliver TOGAF enterprise architecture models.  www.ArchiMate.org
