Carsten CasperCarsten Casper, CISA/CISSP, is a research director with Gartner Research and responsible for the security role in Gartner for IT Leaders in Germany. He advises clients on information security strategies and technologies, in particular regarding European regulations, privacy, certifications, anti-spam/spyware, network filtering and encryption. Mr. Casper has more than 15 years of experience in the IT industry. Before joining Gartner, he worked for the European Network and Information Security Agency, where he advised the EU Commission and Member States on security and anti-spam measures of electronic communication service providers, information security certifications, and information security statistics.
