Unified Messaging is the integration of different streams of messages (email, FAX, voice, video etc.) into a single in-box, accessible from a variety of different devices.

Despite a clear demand, sales of products which claim to support Unified Messaging have been disappointing. The Messaging Forum is developing a Business Scenario to identify the underlying business problems and the barriers to deployment of existing technology.
