I hearby announce the Company Review of "The Managers Guide to Coping with Spam", a White Paper produced by the Messaging Forum.

This review will be conducted in accordance with the formal procedure http//www.opengroup.org/tech/procedures/standards.htm

The sponsor of the document is The Open Group Messaging Forum.

The initial review phase starts with immediate effect. The closing date for comments is 31st August 2003.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with The Open Group Company Review process, please note the following

1. This is a "yes if" review. Change proposals must identify specific changes which would make the document acceptable to you.
   
2. All change proposals must be specific and actionable. They must refer to specific lines in the document (by line number) and must propose the specific rewording that would make the document acceptable. Comments, such as "para needs to be rewritten" are not actionable and will be ignored.

Change proposals must be in the following format:

Multiple change proposals may be included in a single eMail. You may submit as many change proposals as you want, but they must be received by the closing date (after which members of The Messaging Forum will review and vote on acceptance of all change proposals received).

To facilitate the review process, the review draft is line numbered.
