Presentation

1. From Architecture to Execution with TOGAF 9 - Tuesday, 4:00 pm

The acid test for an Enterprise Architecture is transforming the architecture definitions into reality. The real challenge is to align business planning, portfolio management, operations service management, system design and enterprise architecture frameworks together through corporate governance to ensure success. TOGAF 9 provides very useful guidance to ensure that this takes place in a coherent manner based upon global lessons learned.

2. Enterprise Architecture: The Strategic Tool for Innovation in Tough Times - Thursday, 11:00 am
Enterprise Architecture is often ignored in the good times when success turns the existing money-making innovations into stale dogma. They do not want EA to re-invigorate the brand or "rock the boat". In tough times the rules change. EA is a strategic planning framework with which companies can strategically assess themselves and decide how to move forward. The EA products provide visible proof of the direction that the company has chosen and can assure shareholders that their hard-earned money is well-invested. TOGAF 9 is a mature EA framework and set of best practices and lessons learned that can provide companies with the shared vision with which to reignite their innovative spirit and return to long-term sustainable profitability.
