  Dr. Ann Rosenberg, Global Practice Owner for BPM, SAP, Denmark  


Dr Ann RosenbergAnn Rosenberg is working in SAP BTC where she has the Global Practice Ownership for Business Process Management. Ms. Rosenberg joined SAP in 2000, and has since been working in SAP Business Consulting and the SAP internal Business Process Office.

Ms. Rosenberg has a Black Belt in Six Sigma and an executive MBA from SIMI. She has extensive experience in setting up BPM organizations and the transformation change IT needs to execute to be able to support a process-oriented organization.

Ms. Rosenberg has recently published the book Business Process Management - The SAP Roadmap.

Workshop: How BPM Governance Can Exploit TOGAF™ 9 to Create Value for the Enterprise

This session will start with a review of the evolution of Process Management and Enterprise Architecture and highlight their respective contributions to companies' Business Strategies, particularly in regards to process optimization and innovation.

It will then introduce and explore the SAP BPM Governance Framework as a structured approach for transforming companies from functional to process-orientation. You will learn how the BPM Governance framework is applied thru four main phases: BPM strategy, BPM set-up, the BPM transition, continuous improvement and you will see how those phases are supported by underlying activities: Building a process-centric IT, Manage Change, Communication and Training.

Finally, we will address the connections between BPM and EA and illustrate how the SAP BPM framework can expand on the work of EAF/TOGAF 9 to drive process innovation in a structured and IT-aligned manner.

The session will be run as an interactive workshop incenting participation and centered on the added value for the Enterprise.
