Presentation

Whitebeards and Cloudsters: Is Enterprise Architecture relevant in the Cloud?

Cloud computing simplifies service design and implementation, enabling almost anyone to create something that can quickly ignite and reach a global audience of users. Most cloud developers would scoff/laugh at the heavyweight notions that TOGAF and enterprise architects would bring to the table, and most enterprise businesses are trying to figure out what to do about the disruption and opportunities that cloud computing presents.

How should the Open Group respond to the new reality of young cloudsters? Is there a place for whitebeards in this new space? Has nothing actually changed, or is everything really different?

Scott will facilitate an audience discussion and capture answers to a set of disruptive questions. Bring your passion and help the Open Group decide how to respond to this new (yes it is, no it isn't) paradigm.
