Alvin Paules
Chief Technology Architect, SAP
The Enterprise Architecture imperative is Business and Information Technology Alignment. This presentation will provide a framework for Enterprise Architects to engage with Business Leaders facilitating aligned conversations focused on specific business priorities.
The presentation will reveal a range of tools available for Enterprise Architects to support an organization in Value Engineering, Benchmarking and Continuous Process Improvement. We will demonstrate how integrating these tools can enable the Enterprise Architect to remain engaged with business.
We also will discuss three key technology trends that require architectural considerations around their exploitation. We will illustrate the importance of Service Orientated Architecture, Business Process Management, Business Rules, Orchestration, Master Data Management and Security in these new landscapes to help the audience to come to grips with the “new reality” of a Value Driven Enterprise Architecture enabled through technology exploitation.
