Is IT in Your DNA?
While environment plays a role in shaping what we ultimately become, our DNA serves as the foundation for our journey through life. Our DNA dictates how tall we become. Our DNA establishes the color of our hair - at least until age turns it white or a hair stylist makes it whatever color you’d like!!!

I also believe that our DNA predisposes us to love certain things and to make certain decisions – that drives us to professionally become what we become. DNA makes some of us baseball players. DNA makes others musicians - and DNA makes some of us IT Specialists.

Let’s spend some time talking about the genetic markers that make some of us IT Specialists. Let’s discuss the characteristics of the IT Specialist. Let’s consider how IT Specialists are viewed in the industry. We’re unique. As the name implies, we’re “special.” Let’s talk a bit about how and why and what we as a community with the same biological makeup should be doing to enhance our standing in the industry.
