Presentation
A comprehensive approach for data security

Today organizations store, manage and share vast amounts of data in structured (e.g. on DB) and unstructured format (e.g. emails, documents, etc). But a lot of this information is of sensitive nature and has to be protected in order to avoid loss of competitive advantage or any financial and legal consequences.

A model for Secure Data will be presented, where traditional access control is complemented by sophisticated solutions like Automatic Classification, Content Filtering, Rights Management and Real Time Monitoring. The goal of the controls is to automatically enforce the policies of the organization without relying only on people and awareness.

A landscape of the different vendors and technical solution will also be provided. But while securing data and ensuring privacy requires technology, this is only a part of the equation. Understanding the ever changing nature of data and aligning the solution with the people in the organization is critical to its success.
