  Alain Perry, Treasury Board Secretariat, Chief Information Officer Branch, Canada    


Alain Perry has spent 24 years in a wide variety of roles in information technology (IT) from programmer, application manager, project manager, architect and strategist with the Canadian federal government, including 19 years with National Defence.

Currently at Treasury Board Secretariat, Chief Information Officer Branch, Alain leads a team conducting IT Policy instrument management including coordinating the IT standards effort and providing stewardship and guidance on architecture tools and methods. His most recent focus has been on the Business Transformation Enablement Program (BTEP), the Government of Canada Strategic Reference Model (GSRM) and the inter-jurisdictional Canadian Governments Reference Model (CGRM). The CGRM is the emerging common reference model for government programs and services at all levels in Canada.
