Group
Lauren
is responsible for IBM’s software group enablement,
technical sales support and customer deployment across
IBM’s $13 billion software business. She provides
direction and leadership to IBM’s 11,000-member
field sales and technical sales support teams worldwide.
Lauren also developed and currently implements the
highly successful management system, which ensures
customer success in deploying IBM middleware in large
and small enterprises around the globe.
Lauren joined IBM in 1978 as a systems engineer
in New York City. Since that time, she has managed
teams of both sales and technical professionals covering
a broad range of industries.
Lauren graduated from the University of Pennsylvania
Wharton School with a Bachelor of Science degree.
She is a member of the IBM Senior Leadership Team,
co-chair of the IBM United States Women’s Council
and chair of the Multicultural Women in Technology
Council.
