Over 20 years experience in IT, Don has been with
Intel Corporation for 13 years in roles ranging from
Software Developer to Program Manager. Don recently
assumed the role of managing Operations and Standards
for Architecture Execution and Governance within
IT. Reporting directly to Intel’s Chief Architect,
Don and his team are responsible for implementing,
training and evangelizing Enterprise Architecture.
Key enablers of the Enterprise Architecture strategy
are; common certification, common methodologies/frameworks
and common tools.

Over
20 years experience in IT, Cherie has been with Intel
Corporation for 10 years in various capacities. Starting
as a data analyst, she then transitioned into analyst
and management roles in Intel’s implementation
and roll-out of SAP. Cherie has recently assumed the
role as the program manager for Enterprise Architecture
at Intel. Intel, recognizing that world-class architecture
was critical in enabling the agility and competitive
advantage, defined Enterprise Architecture as a key
program. The goal is to bring together many aspects
of architecture currently in place at Intel as they
define the approach and plan for implementation of
a single, integrated enterprise architecture across

So, your boss says ‘we need to adopt an EA Framework!’ And, perhaps
(more likely than not) you are somewhat of a neophyte when it comes to Enterprise
Architecture and Frameworks. Sure, you’ve heard of Zachman – everybody
has - but, truth be told, you’ve never done a deep dive. Using a 12
step approach, we’ll walk through some key learnings and insights (things
we know now that we didn’t know then) to get you from neophyte to troglodyte
(unfortunately, we can offer no more than that), enlightenment is up to you.
