Enterprise Architecture Collaboration & Management - EA WebModeler
Enterprise architecture collaboration and management is vital to achieving agility, reducing risk, and Agilenseincreasing effectiveness and efficiency in today's pressured organizations. Historically, enabling EA collaboration and management has been supported with ad-hoc tools (Word, Excel, Access, Visio) or CASE modeling tools originally intended for software, process or data modeling. Experience has shown these tool types lack essential elements for effectively managing and sharing EA artifacts, documenting current architectures, developing future scenarios and managing initiatives towards achieving goals: particularly when it comes to gaining buy in from non-technical business leaders, collaborating with sponsors, decision makers, and "owners" of various architecture dimensions.

This talk discusses the context of EA tools and the requirements for a successful EA tool; how it differs from previous approaches; the design of one such "new generation" web/repository based tool capable of supporting a variety of frameworks and user categories. The talk will conclude with a demonstration of unique capabilities followed by questions and discussion.
