Vice President, Enterprise Strategy and Architecture, Citizens Bank Financial Group Matthew T. Daniels developed, launched, and currently manages the Enterprise Strategy and Architecture department at Citizens Bank Financial Group, a $137-billion commercial bank holding company headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island. Citizens has more than 1,600 branches, approximately 2,800 ATMs, and more than 26,000 employees. Citizens is the 8th largest commercial bank company in the United States when ranked by deposits. The Enterprise Strategy and Architecture department is responsible for the 3-5 year technology strategy roadmap, business-to-technology alignment, technology governance, and project-level architecture design and technology guidance. Prior to his five year career at Citizens, Matt previously held senior technology and leadership positions with Alltel Information Systems, Gartner, and Eunetcom and has over 10 years of experience in the technology arena, specifically in the areas of Network and Data Security, large scale heterogeneous networking, technology integration and engineering, and application architecture.
